Sports for Schools Event

We've always been a sporty lot here at Christ Church! On Monday 1st February we were given the opportunity to show off our sporting talents to an Olympic athlete as part of our Sports for Schools Day. Steve Frew, a Commonwealth Games medal winner in gymnastics, visited the school and helped to motivate us while we were taking part in some hardcore exercises! He then gave a very motivational talk about how he had become an athlete, as well as a demonstration of his incredible gymnastics skills! A wonderful day was had by all and we also managed to raise a significant amount of money for both the school and for the Sports for School organisation. Well done Christ Church!

JAM Weekend

A fun weekend was had by all when Anita hosted six children from JAM (Jesus and Me) Club at her cottage in the Cotswolds. We went for beautiful walks in the countryside, bonded over silly games and shared times of prayer and reflection in the beautiful countryside location. Check out the JAM noticeboard for more pictures of our weekend away...

If you go down to the woods today...

On Friday 13th November, Christ Church was taken over by teddy bears! Some of us dressed as them, some of us brought our favourite bears along to school. But we were all trying to raise money for Children in Need. Thanks to all of the donations by children, parents and staff, we managed to raise £103.37 - well done Christ Church!

Easter Bonnet Parade

The children of Christ Church once again showed off their incredible creative talents during the last week of term. It was wonderful to see children in ALL years getting involved and we were particularly impressed with those children who 'started from scratch'! A big thank you to all the family and friends who assisted the children in making these amazing creations.
